If the dates are gone: the ferry and train fallback

Two season traps for late-2026 arrivals: the premium Campania Express is suspended from 1 October 2026 by the operator EAV, so plan on the ordinary Circumvesuviana and nothing else; and the Positano ferry route runs 1 April to 3 November, after which the coast day goes by road or not at all.
